Scott Macknocher has occupied several senior roles in the construction sector of the offshore oil and gas industry during a career spanning almost 25 years.

A graduate electrical engineer from Stirling University, he has extensive experience in offshore construction operations, technical and operations management and strategic and business planning.

He has led the investment analysis of several major capital expenditure projects and has managed many technology and equipment

development projects relating to complex subsea intervention systems.

With around 10 years field experience gained on major offshore construction projects around the world followed by various management roles within tier-one offshore engineering and construction company Acergy and its predecessor companies, Scott is well placed to understand the design, construction and commercial challenges of delivering successful products to the subsea industry.

Paul Lavelle has a track record of innovation and excellence spanning 30 years ranging from engineering and product development to marine construction operations.

In the mid-1980‘s, Paul founded leading energy services company Tekmar which he grew to become a world leader in its field.  Tekmar has produced many break-through designs, particularly relating to the construction and maintenance of offshore oil infrastructure.

After selling Tekmar in 2007, Paul spent time working in technical and management advisory roles before co-founding Enventi.

Paul’s accomplishments as an innovator go beyond the subsea industry, having recently completed the design and build of a revolutionary award-winning eco-home which employs technology never before used on a domestic property in the UK.

Paul is a committed environmentalist and in 1989, launched the first hot air balloon from the North Pole to highlight the damage being caused to the ozone layer.  He has since made several return trips to the North Pole and remains an active polar environmentalist.
